CAE and FCE Writing checklist

In order to have a top-notch result in your writing exam of FCE or CAE, make sure to use all the points in the following grammar checklist:

• Modals (as many as possible)
• Conditional (minimum 1)
• Passive (minimum 1)
• Perfects (as many as possible)
• Inversions (only for CAE, minimum 1)
• Complex adverbs and adjectives
• Reported Speech (if possible)
• Impersonal sentences
• Idioms (minimum 1)
• Connectors and linkers (1 for every sentence. Addition, contrast, example, opinion)
